Our Ministries

There are many ministry opportunities to participate in at Holy Ghost and Trinity United Churches of Christ!  Some of which have been active for 100+ years.  We are continually searching for ways that we can be relevant within our communities to assist with needs we may be able to support.  If you know of any needs, please don't hesitate to reach out to Pastor Tarrah or to our Church Office Manager, Kim.

Women's Guild and Men's Fellowship

At Holy Ghost and Trinity, we pursue the Glory of God through worship, ministry, giving and education. We work diligently to build and strengthen our relationship with God and Jesus the Christ through the movement of the Holy Spirit.  At the heart of everything we do is the understanding that we must love God with all our heart, with all our soul, and with all our mind, and to treat our neighbors as we wish to be treated ourselves.

Prayer
Ministry

Our congregation is fueled by a firm belief in the teachings of Jesus the Christ, and when we are together under the Holy Spirit of God — we become one. One of the ways in which we come together is through our Prayer Ministry.  We welcome you to join our community and discover the power of devoted and fervant prayer in your life. Don’t hesitate to contact us to find out more. We are always open to visitors and new worshippers who want to come and pray among us.

Mental Health Ministry

On Sunday, May 21st, 2023, a congregational vote was held to become WISE congregations in the United Church of Christ.  This new Mental Health Ministry initiative seeks to Welcome Include Support and Engage those with mental illness diagnoses and will also consistently work to reduce the stigma attached to mental illnesses.  It is through the teachings of Jesus the Christ that we seek to reach those within and on the margins of our faith communities that have mental illnesses.  This community driven ministry also calls us to reach outside the walls of our church buildings into surrounding towns and institutions as a supportive, life-giving presence.  Through education and compassionate spiritual growth, we give our members the chance to become fully immersed in the wisdom and teachings of Christ to build a Welcoming, Inclusive, Supportive and Engaged community for all.

Outreach Ministry

We are a community of faith rooted in the love of God. We believe worship is not just found in prayer on any given Sunday morning, it’s something expressed in everything we do. Our way of living as Christians in the world is deeply rooted in the call from our StillSpeaking God coupled with scripture as a guiding force.  The still, small voice of God moves us to reach out to and offer support to one another and to the communities we reside in.  Come and join us to experience God’s grace for yourself.  There’s a special place for you at our welcoming church.
